USB Drive Size: Your USB flash drive should have a minimum capacity of 8 GB for the installation. Consider using a USB 3.0 drive for faster installation speeds.
Back Up Your Files: Before diving into the installation process, ensure you have backed up all your important files. This precautionary step will safeguard your data in case of any unforeseen issues during installation.
Check System Requirements: Take a moment to verify that your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. This includes checking the processor, RAM, storage, and other hardware components.
Stable Internet Connection: To ensure a smooth download process, make sure you have a stable internet connection. If possible, opt for a wired connection to avoid interruptions during the download.
Follow the below steps:
Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) from Microsoft Official download page.
Insert USB drive (8 GB or higher capacity)
Download and open Rufus
Select your USB drive from the Device menu.
Click SELECT then locate the iso file from your computer download from the Microsoft Website.
Select Image option as Standard Windows Installation
Click START
Select any customizations you desire, if any, and click OK.
Understand the Alert! that everything on this USB drive will be erased. Press Ok if you agree.
Wait until Rufus copies the ISO files to the USB drive.
You can select CLOSE when Status says READY. You are now ready to install/re-install Windows 11 in your target PC.
